Help provide learning tools and support so every child with a disability can access quality education and build a brighter future. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
In 2025, H2D is prioritizing inclusive education by providing specialized learning materials, teacher training, and direct school fee support for children with disabilities. We are working to ensure that no child is left behind because of their physical or intellectual challenges. By removing barriers to education, we are not only investing in their futures but also building a more compassionate and equitable community.
Provide Basic Needs
Support children with disabilities by providing food, clothing, and hygiene items so they can live in dignity and stay strong every day. No child should go to bed hungry or without proper clothing.
Through our Basic Needs Program, H2D is committed to ensuring that no child with a disability in Mityana District faces hunger, inadequate clothing, or lack of proper hygiene. We provide food packages , new and gently used clothing, and essential hygiene supplies to the most vulnerable families. By addressing these fundamental needs, we are creating a foundation of dignity and stability that allows children to focus on their health, education, and personal development.
Offer Medical Support
Support access to treatment, therapy, and mobility aids so children with disabilities can stay healthy and grow with confidence. Every child deserves quality healthcare regardless of their ability.
Through our Medical Support Program, H2D is working to bridge the healthcare gap for children with disabilities in Mityana District. We facilitate access to essential medical treatments, physiotherapy sessions, and mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, and hearing aids. By partnering with local health facilities and medical professionals, we ensure that every child receives the care they need to thrive. Your support helps us cover medical costs, therapy sessions, and transportation to health centers—removing the financial barriers that often prevent families from seeking care.
Empower The Disabled Economically
H2D's Economic Empowerment Program is in its early stages, and while we have not yet achieved full success, we are building the foundation for lasting change. Through community research and surveys, we have identified agriculture as a priority area with great potential for impact. Moving forward, we plan to provide farming training, tools, and startup support to help families grow their own food and generate income. Our goal is to create sustainable livelihoods and break the cycle of poverty, one family at a time.
