Who We Are

A Hand To The Disabled (H2D) is a non-profit, community-based organization founded by Katwere Ivan Patrick in June 2025. Established to improve the lives of persons with disabilities in Mityana District, Uganda, the organization is officially registered with the District NGO Monitoring Committee (Reg. No. SSE.TC/151/2025). H2D provides protection, care, advocacy, and empowerment opportunities to ensure that people with disabilities can participate fully and equally in community life.

Operating with full transparency through our official bank account with Equity Bank Uganda, H2D is committed to building an inclusive society where every person, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive with dignity and independence. Through partnerships, community engagement, and the generous support of donors and well-wishers, we continue to expand our reach and positively impact the lives of more individuals and families in need.
