Who We Are

A Hand To The Disabled is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities in Mityana District, Uganda. Officially registered with the District NGO Monitoring Committee (Reg. No. SSE.TC/151/2025), we provide protection, care and empowerment opportunities to ensure people with disabilities can participate fully in community life.

We have ably reached out to 20 individuals through compassionate assistance and advocacy. However, its an ongoing Exercise with more than 50 disabled Persons under registration. Operating with full transparency through our official bank account with Equity Bank Uganda, we work to create a more inclusive society where everyone has the chance to thrive. Your support helps us expand our reach to more people in need.

Your monthly donation of $100 covers the child's education, basic healthcare, nutritional support, and contributes to community development programs. A small portion (less than 10%) helps with administrative costs.

Child sponsorship starts at just $100 per month. This helps cover essential needs like education, medical care, nutrition, and other basic necessities.

Yes! We organize sponsor visits to our programs in Uganda. These must be arranged in advance through our office for proper coordination.
